Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Working Pattern: Full-time and Part-time roles available

Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work three days a week, covering Wednesday to Friday, providing high-quality teaching support across all key stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the class teacher.
- Provide targeted support to small groups and individual pupils to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers to create and deliver engaging and differentiated lesson plans.
- Support the assessment and tracking of pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where necessary.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of interventions for pupils requiring additional support.
- Uphold and promote the school’s policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualification: HLTA status or equivalent qualification is essential.
- Experience: Proven experience working within a primary school setting and covering all key stages.
- Skills: Excellent communication, adaptability, and organisational skills.
- Commitment: A proactive attitude and dedication to supporting the development and well-being of all pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
