I am interested in speaking to ECT’s/ HLTAs in the East Lancashire area who have a passion for working with children with challenging behaviour. The successful educator will aim to re-engage students with their learning and offer them opportunities that they may have lacked in mainstream school.
This Secondary SEMH provision aims to open doors for children to achieve academically and through life outside of school. The school adopts an inclusive philosophy and ensures all children are offered a chance to improve relationships, opportunities, and life chances. The adopt a personalised approach to education and provide interventions for the children.
Requirements of the role
The educator will be confident and effective who will deliver a range of engaging learning activities. The role will involve opening doors for a small group of students.. As many of the students who arrive are below national average, the headteacher is keen to welcome someone who has the ability to engage with students who lack confidence and self-esteem.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
