Position Details:
- Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
- Location: Everton (L3)
- Start Date: April 2025
- Pay Rate: £95 - £100 per day
- Contract: Full-time, temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent
About the Role:

A large primary school in Everton (L3) is seeking a skilled HLTA to join their team on a fixed-term contract starting in April 2025. The role may be extended for the academic year and offers the potential for a permanent appointment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide cover for PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) and teacher absences across both KS1 and KS2
- Uphold and embody the school's distinctive values and vision in your teaching practices
Requirements:
- Experience working across both KS1 and KS2 is desirable
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is advantageous
- HLTA qualification (or equivalent) or an Early Career Teacher seeking additional experience in primary education

The school has a higher-than-average proportion of disadvantaged pupils, so prior experience working with SEN children would be beneficial.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
