The Role
As Head of Department, you will:
- Lead and develop one of our core subject areas (Mathematics, Science, English, or Spanish).
- Inspire excellence in teaching and learning for students, laying the foundation for their future success.
- Design and implement innovative schemes of work that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Mentor and support teachers within your department to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive cross-curricular initiatives and uphold the school’s ethos of holistic education.
- Monitor and evaluate the department’s performance, ensuring high standards of achievement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
