About the Role:

• Full-time, permanent Head of Art and Design & Technology position

• Leading the Art and Design & Technology department, overseeing curriculum development and delivery

• Managing a team of teachers, providing support, guidance, and professional development

• Promoting a creative and inclusive learning environment for students

• Working closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement

• Monitoring and assessing student progress, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A proven track record in teaching Art and Design & Technology at secondary level

• Experience in a leadership role, ideally as a Head of Department (or similar)

• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

• A passion for fostering creativity and developing students' skills in the arts and design

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
