About the Role:

Full-time, permanent Head of Art and Design & Technology position

Leading the Art and Design & Technology department, overseeing curriculum development and delivery

Managing a team of teachers, providing support, guidance, and professional development

Promoting a creative and inclusive learning environment for students

Working closely with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement

Monitoring and assessing student progress, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A proven track record in teaching Art and Design & Technology at secondary level

Experience in a leadership role, ideally as a Head of Department (or similar)

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

A passion for fostering creativity and developing students' skills in the arts and design

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
