Graduate Teaching Assistants
Job description
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Recent Graduates who are looking to start a career education to join one of our client schools in Manchester as Teaching Assistants. For the right candidate, there will be the potential to enter a permanent teaching position when you become fully qualified.
The salary for this position will be between £420 and £450 per week.
Our client school is looking for Teaching Assistants across a wide range of subjects to assist their teaching staff in their school in Manchester.
For this position, it is essential that you are able willing to apply to a fully enhanced DBS check and that you can provide at least two employment-based references. You also should be aware of safeguarding procedures.
The key responsibilities of this position are:
- To assist Teachers in their planning and delivery of lessons.
- Working with small groups of pupils who are struggling academically to target their learning needs.
- Monitoring the progression of pupils, being able to give feedback to the pupils as well as the teaching staff.
- Helping to control the behaviour of the pupils to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Ensuring that any safeguarding procedures are being followed and that situations are being dealt with appropriately.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
