Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunities

If so, we have exciting opportunities for you to join Teaching Personnel as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. There are lots of roles available to support the delivery of lessons, help students with their learning, and provide valuable academic support to enhance the overall educational experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Support Classroom Learning: Assist in delivering engaging lessons and activities, providing additional help to students when needed.

Small Group and 1:1 Support: Work with students in small groups or individually to reinforce concepts and assist with understanding subject matter, ensuring that students stay on track and reach their potential.

Support Student Progress: Help monitor and track student progress, offering feedback and encouragement to support their academic and personal development.

Behaviour Management: Assist with maintaining a positive learning environment by supporting classroom management strategies and ensuring students are engaged and focused.

Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement strategies to support students’ learning needs and social development.
What We’re Looking For:

A degree in a Social Science-related field (e.g., Education, Sociology, Psychology, Criminology, Politics, or similar).

A passion for working with young people and a genuine interest in supporting their learning and development.

Patience, empathy, and adaptability, with a keen understanding of the diverse needs of students.

A positive, can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn and develop within an educational environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
