Psychology Graduate – School Support Role (Wigan)
Are you a Psychology graduate eager to gain practical experience in an educational setting? Do you want to make a positive impact on young people’s well-being and development?
We are looking for passionate Psychology graduates to work in secondary schools across Wigan, supporting students with additional needs, including SEN (Special Educational Needs), SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), and behavioural challenges.
The Role:
Provide tailored support to students, both 1:1 and in small groups
Assist in implementing well-being and behaviour management strategies
Work alongside teachers and pastoral teams to enhance student engagement
Gain hands-on experience for careers in education, psychology, or mental health
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ A degree in Psychology (or related field)
✔️ Experience working with young people is beneficial but not essential
✔️ Strong communication and empathy skills
✔️ A passion for education and supporting student well-being

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
