Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant - Durham

Position Overview:
- Role: Teaching Assistant
- Start Date: Easter 2025
- Salary: £450 to £500 per week
- Contract Type: Full-Time
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of educational needs. A solid understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) is essential as you provide personalised support to individual students or small groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with their Educational Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students to aid their personal and academic development.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students, teachers, and parents.
- Ensure safeguarding protocols are followed and manage any challenges that arise effectively.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
