  • Wages Paid Fairly: All earnings are paid through PAYE – no umbrella companies involved.

What You'll Gain from the Placement:

During your time as a Cover Supervisor, you will:

  • Observe and Reflect: Gain insight into different teaching styles, classroom management techniques, and methods of engaging students across various subjects.
  • Build Skills: Learn how to confidently lead a class, adapt to different situations, and develop relationships with students and staff.
  • Track Your Progress: Maintain a journal of your daily experiences to reflect on your strengths, challenges, and growth.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to understand how schools function holistically, including pastoral care, behaviour policies, and student welfare.
  • Support Learning: Assist students with coursework, exam preparation, and general classwork to develop your subject knowledge and teaching confidence.
  • Understand Curriculum: Learn the syllabus in your subject specialism, identifying how to transfer your degree knowledge into engaging and effective lessons.

Why Choose Teaching as Your Career?
