Job description
Teaching personnel are currently working with a thriving secondary school located in Stoke-on-Trent, committed to providing an outstanding education to its students. They are looking for passionate and dynamic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) or recent graduates to join their dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are keen to start their teaching careers in a supportive environment, with a focus on professional development and student success. The school is an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ Catholic Academy with excellent transport links between Congleton and Crewe.
About the role:
As an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or Recent Graduate Teacher, you will be joining a vibrant and collaborative team of educators, where you will be supported through your induction year and beyond. You will have the opportunity to teach your specialist subject or a range of subjects and be a positive influence on students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- You will earn a starting salary of £31,000
- Permanent, full-time roles starting in September
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality lessons to students in-line with the national curriculum and school polices
- Assess, track, and report student’s progress, providing consistent feedback helping them to achieve their full potential
- Contribute to the development of engaging lesson plans and resources
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and support
- Engage in regular professional development, including induction activities and ECT support sessions
What we’re looking for:
- A relevant degree in specific subject or education
- Newly qualified teacher status (QTS) or due to complete teacher training
- A passion for helping students to succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
