Location: Pembroke
Pay: £90 - £120 per day
Contract: Full time / Part time

Apply for an exciting opportunity for a graduate to train as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary School environment in Pembroke. Join our dedicated team and inspire and teach the next generation with your passion for supporting Children and young people.
As a Cover Supervisor you will be responsible for leading lessons of approximately 25 pupils in the absence of the class teacher. You will cover classes across the full range of secondary school subjects, but don’t worry, you are not expected to be a subject specialist in each area. The lesson will always be planned, and this will be provided in advance.
It is your role as the Cover Supervisor to facilitate the classes learning, manage classroom behaviour, record accurate registers, and provide a handover to the absent teacher. Successful Cover Supervisors are adaptable, flexible, motivated, confident and organised, they have a passion for education and supporting young people.
Requirements:
- Availability for standard working hours: 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Prior experience working in schools would be great
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Subject specific qualifications - Must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree
- Full UK Drivers licence
- Full time availability or at least 3 days a week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
