Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors for immediate placements in various secondary schools across the Wigan LEA. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time work, we have flexible opportunities that fit your schedule and availability.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about education, whether you're an experienced Cover Supervisor or looking to gain valuable classroom experience before starting a teacher training course in September 2024. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of students' learning by covering classes in the absence of a teacher, using pre-planned lessons to keep students on track.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience is a plus, but not required: Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is beneficial but not essential.
- Passion for Education: A genuine interest in supporting and inspiring students aged 11-16.
- Confidence and Leadership: Strong behaviour management skills to effectively supervise students across various subjects.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work across different schools and subjects as needed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
