Salary: £80 - £120 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT), an experienced Cover Supervisor, or a graduate eager to gain valuable experience in the classroom? Teaching Personnel Liverpool is looking for motivated and adaptable individuals to join our growing team of Cover Supervisors in the Wirral and Liverpool areas.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in maintaining continuity in students' learning during teacher absences. You’ll manage classroom behaviour, deliver pre-set lessons, and ensure that students remain on task. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of local secondary schools, making it ideal for:
- Early Career Teachers seeking classroom experience before taking on full teaching responsibilities.
- Experienced Cover Supervisors who are looking for flexible, rewarding work.
- Graduates interested in a career in teaching, looking to gain practical experience before committing to teacher training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
- Supporting students with their learning and engaging them with the lesson
- Liaising with teaching staff to ensure a smooth handover between lessons
- Contributing to the wider school community by offering support when needed

Requirements:
- A degree (or equivalent) or relevant classroom experience
- Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage students
- A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed
- A desire to gain experience or progress in the teaching profession
- A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
