Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Liverpool
Employer: Teaching Personnel

Salary: £85 - £100 per day (6.5 hour days), depending on experience and pay scale.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting secondary schools across Liverpool by stepping in to cover lessons during teacher absences. This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates who are enthusiastic about working with young people and want hands-on experience in a school setting. Cover supervisor roles can sometimes lead to long term roles once experience is gained in the classroom!

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Support students with their learning and ensure they remain engaged
  • Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress
  • Assist with other school-related duties as required

Requirements:

  • A recent graduate (any discipline)
  • A passion for education and working with young people
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Enthusiasm, adaptability, and a proactive attitude
  • Previous experience in education is beneficial but not essential
  • Enhanced DBS check and on the update service
