Job description

Are you passionate about the world around us — from landscapes and climates to global development and sustainability? We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Tutor in Harrow to support students in deepening their understanding of the subject and achieving their academic goals across KS3, GCSE, and A-Level.

Whether it’s helping learners navigate case studies, understand geographical processes, or prepare for exams, your support can make a lasting impact.


Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, tailored Geography lessons to meet each student’s learning goals
• Monitor and report on attendance, progress, and engagement using our digital platform
• Liaise effectively with TP Tutors, parents, and carers to ensure consistent support
• Prioritise safeguarding and student well-being throughout every session
• Provide flexible tuition options, including both in-person and online delivery
• Help students with exam techniques, revision strategies, and coursework support


What We’re Looking For:

✅ Strong subject knowledge in Geography (KS3, GCSE, A-Level)
QTS, PGCE, or equivalent tutoring/teaching experience
✅ Experience working with school-aged children or young adults
✅ Ability to adapt lessons for different learning styles and abilities
✅ Understanding of or willingness to work with SEN and SEMH learners
✅ Skilled in managing student behaviour and maintaining engagement
✅ Passionate about education and committed to student success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
