Location: York, North Yorkshire
Salary: £140 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (with potential for permanent placement)
Start Date: ASAP
Are you a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity in York? Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic educator to join a vibrant and high-achieving secondary school in the area.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- Inspire students to develop their understanding of geographical concepts and the world around them.
- Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the department's success.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A passion for Geography and a commitment to student progress.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
