Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Salary: MPS/UPS, Dependent on experience
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Permanent

A highly reputable and forward-thinking secondary school in Sheffield is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join its committed Humanities department from September 2025. The successful candidate will inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering high-quality lessons that foster curiosity and critical thinking about the world around them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can achieve their potential.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and participate in extra-curricular activities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Geography or a related subject.
  • Proven experience of teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4, with a track record of strong student outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Willingness to contribute to field trips and enrichment opportunities.
