Geography Teachers needed!
Are you an experienced and qualified Teacher of Geography looking for a flexible work-life balance? Are you a recent graduate specialising in Geography and want to use your knolwedge to inspire the next generation? Look no further!
Teaching Personnel are actively recruiting for Geography, and humnaities specialist to join our team working in schools across Northamptonshire providing short and long term cover in schools during staff absence. As a Geography Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and effective geography lessons across key stages that have been prepared by the class teacher. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students, helping them to develop their understanding of the world around them. This position is ideal for a passionate educator who is adaptable and ready to make a positive impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned geography lessons at a high standard
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs and abilities of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school community.
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote a safe learning environment.
Requirements
- A teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
- Qualification in Geography is ideal
- Deep Understanding for Geographical concepts
- Excellent classroom management
- Experience working in Secondary Education
- A child only enhanced DBS
- An overseas police clearance (if applicable)
- Ability and want to guide and inspire the next generation

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
