Teaching Personnel are looking for a General Teaching Assistant to greatly improve a keen and welcoming classrooms educational experience. Supportive teaching assistants play a vital role in a child’s education and that’s exactly what we’re looking for!

The position is in a very highly regarded and ‘good’ Ofsted Rated School. It is in a peaceful welcoming village and has a great warming community feel. It is also easy to commute to and access via public transport. It would be hard not to love the vibe of this school!

The Role –

-          Assisting students with their learning providing individual or support in groups

-          Helping teachers with lesson planning and preparing materials

-          Communicating with students, teachers and parents about student progress

-          Supporting and promoting positive behaviour of individuals and towards others

-          Supervision provided to students all throughout the day including breaks if students require it

What we’re looking for –

-          Previous Teaching Assistant experience or child-based experience of a relevant age group

-          Supportive approach when working with children

-          Strong communication

-          Patience and great passion when working with children

-          Proactive and initiative to support main teacher

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
