Are you passionate about inspiring young minds through the wonders of Science? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team, working in various secondary schools across Liverpool. If you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and possess an enhanced DBS, we want to hear from you!

Position: Secondary School Science Teacher

Location: Liverpool Secondary Schools
Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time positions available

About the Role:

As a Science Teacher with Teaching Personnel, you’ll have the opportunity to deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering curiosity and a love for science among students. You will be adaptable, creative, and able to manage diverse classroom dynamics, ensuring every student has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum for KS3 and KS4.
  • Assess and Track students' progress, providing feedback and support to help them succeed.
  • Inspire and Motivate students to deepen their understanding of scientific concepts and methods.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school’s science department.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
  • Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality science education and helping students achieve their best.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
