Exciting Opportunities: General Cover Teachers needed in Lowfell

Are you a passionate and versatile teacher looking for a new role starting in January 2025. Our client schools in Gateshead are seeking dedicated General Cover Teachers. Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT), we invite you to apply.

Position Details:

  • Role: General Cover Teacher
  • Pay: £140 per day
  • Contract: Full-Time 5 days a week 
  • Start Date: January 2024

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong grasp of the National Curriculum, with the ability to cover various lessons
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Child-only DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply (we can assist).
  • Two recent professional references.

Job Brief:

  • Deliver lessons across KS3 and KS4 to students of varying abilities.
  • Plan and implement lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Engage in extracurricular activities to enhance the student experience.
