General Cover Supervisor – Secondary School (Tameside)

Location: Tameside
Start Date: January 2025
Salary: £85-£100 per day

Teaching Personnel is hiring a General Cover Supervisor for a secondary school in Tameside, starting in January. As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for managing classes across different subjects in the absence of teachers, maintaining high standards of student behavior, and ensuring lesson plans are followed.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced supervisors who enjoy a fast-paced environment and are passionate about working with young people. Full training will be provided, making it an ideal role for those looking to step into education.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable
  • Confident and capable of managing classroom behavior
  • Ability to deliver pre-set lesson plans with enthusiasm and flexibility
  • Adaptable and able to step into different subjects as needed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
