Job description

Help Kids Love Learning – Become a TP Tutor!

Do you get a buzz from seeing a child finally “get it”? Want to use your passion for education to make a real difference? TP Tutors is looking for enthusiastic, kind-hearted tutors to join our growing team.

What We're All About: At TP Tutors, we do things differently. We’re not just about grades—we’re about giving children the tools and confidence to succeed inside and outside the classroom. Whether it’s Maths, English, Science, or ESOL, our sessions are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each learner’s needs.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • One-on-one tutoring in key subjects, designed to match each student's pace and style

  • Creating an encouraging, student-focused space for learning

  • Tracking growth and sharing wins (and challenges) with families

  • Bringing patience, flexibility, and care to every session

  • Using trauma-aware approaches to help students feel seen, heard, and capable

Is This You?

  • You’ve worked with kids or teens—maybe in schools, clubs, or even tutoring

  • You’re great at explaining things in fun, easy-to-understand ways

  • You’re patient, understanding, and genuinely care about helping others

  • Experience with SEN is a bonus, but a caring approach is a must

Why It’s Worth It:

  • Fit tutoring around your life with flexible hours

  • Start at £30/hr and grow with experience

  • Access to training and development with Teaching Personnel

  • Work close to home and build real connections with local families

  • Know that what you do really matters

Sound like a fit? We’d love to hear from you. Let’s help students succeed—together.
