GCSE Tutor

Location: Nottingham

About Us: At TP Tutors, we are passionate about helping students excel in their GCSE exams. We provide a supportive and personalised approach to learning, aiming to boost student confidence and academic performance. We are currently looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable GCSE Tutor to join our team and help guide students towards achieving their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored tutoring sessions to GCSE students across a range of subjects.
  • Help students prepare for their exams by focusing on key areas for improvement.
  • Create engaging and interactive lesson plans that meet individual learning needs.
  • Track students' progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure they are on track to meet their academic targets.
  • Motivate and inspire students, helping them build confidence in their abilities.
  • Assist with exam techniques, revision strategies, and time management skills.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in tutoring GCSE students or teaching at the GCSE level.
  • Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum in one or more subjects (Maths, English, Science, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • A patient and supportive approach to teaching.
  • A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.
  • A degree in a relevant subject (preferred but not essential).
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
