Position: Secondary-Age Tutor
Location: Flexible (in-person or remote options available)
About the Role As a Secondary-Age Tutor, you’ll support students from diverse backgrounds, helping them excel in core subjects and prepare for key academic milestones such as GCSEs and A-levels. By creating engaging lesson plans and offering tailored support, you’ll play a vital role in boosting students’ confidence and equipping them for academic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver subject-specific lessons tailored to each student’s individual learning needs and goals.
- Identify students’ strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring continuous academic progress.
- Use creative and interactive teaching methods to make challenging topics accessible and engaging.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to parents and schools, celebrating achievements and addressing concerns.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in secondary education or tutoring, with expertise in your subject area.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to break down complex topics for secondary-age pupils.
- Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for fostering a supportive learning environment.
- A degree in Education or a relevant field (preferred but not required).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
