Job Title: GCSE SEN Tutor

Job Duties:

The GCSE English and Maths SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the subjects of English and Maths. Duties include creating individualised lesson plans, delivering engaging and interactive lessons, assessing student progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Specialisation in English and Maths education. Experience working with students with SEN.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEN education.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of SEN strategies and interventions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to differentiate instruction based on individual student needs. Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
