On this programme we will provide you with many tools and resources in which to upskill yourself and give you the insight into becoming a teacher whilst in the role of a Teaching Assistant. We service many schools across Bristol, South Gloucestshire, Bath and North East Somerset and therefore have an array of roles available and can find one best suited to you.

Becoming a teacher can be a highly rewarding job. However, with it brings a lot of responsibility and a heavy workload which many newly qualified teachers aren’t prepared for. Teaching Personnel have exclusively developed the Future Teacher’s Programme so that you can get an insight into a Teaching Career prior to taking the plunge into your teacher training. We hope this will reduce the level of drop outs in Education as the knowledge you will gain will enable you to make the correct choice for your future path.
As a FUTURE TEACHER you will work in the role of a Teaching Assistant but will gain exclusive access to courses, information and resources to upskill yourself and progress whilst you work. Many schools will also give you additional support and allow you to be part of the learning journey in the class you are in.
There are many different Teaching Assistant roles you will be able to work in e.g.
- 1:1 roles with SEN pupils – Supporting pupils with additional needs inclusive of social, emotional and behavioural issues or special needs (ASD, ADHD ETC.)
- General Teaching Assistant – To work alongside the class teacher to help deliver an effective and diverse educational experience in the whole class.
- Intervention Opportunities - To lead small or individual leader sessions outside of the classroom to boost the pupils learning when necessary.
- Pastoral care - Support the social and emotional development of pupils, and report any concerns to the relevant person.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
