Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with the vast majority of schools in the Central Manchester area to support them in their long-term recruitment goals for fully qualified teachers. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is considering a career in teaching.

We are currently seeking between 3-5 enthusiastic and resilient graduates who are interested in a career in teaching to join one of our client schools.

What does this role look like and how will it help me become a teacher?

Throughout this role, you will work as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) and an Unqualified Teacher allowing you to gain classroom experience to develop your skills such as behaviour management and supporting students of varying abilities. The school that you will be working in has a direct link with an Initial Teacher Training Programme where the successful future teachers will progress onto their SCITT following a year of in school experience.

Key information regarding this role.

  • Full time LSA required: Degree level qualification is essential.
  • Pay range: up to £1800 per month.
  • You will be required to provide interventions as well as carry out cover supervisor responsibilities.
  • Initial one year future teacher’s placement.

If you already have experience working within UK secondary schools, we highly encourage you to apply. As a potential future teacher, you should have a vested interest in education and developing your career. You will be working with pupils between the ages of 11 and 16 with varying levels of ability.

This school is located in the Central Manchester area and is therefore easily accessible via public transport or via motorway.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
