Salary: M1 – 6, UPS 1 -3

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join a successful secondary school in South Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for a fully qualified teacher to inspire and engage students in the study of Religious Education, fostering critical thinking and ethical discussions in a supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured RE lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Inspire students to explore different religious beliefs, ethics, and moral issues
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field
• Previous experience teaching RE at secondary level (KS3 & KS4)
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for education and a commitment to student success
• Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service
