Job Title: Fully Qualified Mathematics Teacher with General Cover
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside

We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Fully Qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our team and work in one of our partner schools in Liverpool.

The Role:
As a Fully Qualified Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics education to secondary school students. You will inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for mathematics and helping each student achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable goals.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes mutual respect.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of the mathematics department.
  • Support students' academic and personal development through pastoral care and guidance.
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to succeed.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and other school events as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics.
  • Proven experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, with a track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of the mathematics curriculum and examination requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to students' academic and personal growth.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Enhanced DBS check and on the update service (or willingness to undergo one) and appropriate references.
