Role Overview:

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students aged 11-16, across a range of abilities. You will play a key role in helping students develop their mathematical understanding, fostering a love for the subject, and supporting them in achieving their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback to ensure continuous improvement
  • Supporting students in preparation for GCSE exams
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the school’s wider community

Requirements:

  • Fully Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3/KS4)
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A passion for teaching and the ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one)
