Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate, fully qualified English Teacher to join our team, working within secondary schools in the vibrant city of Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record of delivering exceptional English teaching at the secondary level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students aged 11-16.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in English, fostering a love for literature and language.
- Assess, monitor, and report on students' progress, adhering to the national curriculum guidelines.
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to varied learning needs and abilities.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and collaboration with colleagues.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in teaching English at secondary schools, with a track record of achieving outstanding results.
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for English.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- An enhanced DBS check registered with the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across a range of schools within Liverpool.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
