We are seeking a dedicated English teacher to join their vibrant team and contribute to their ethos of delivering outstanding education.

The Role

As a fully qualified English teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a love for literature, language, and creative expression among students.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, tailoring support to individual needs.
  • Contribute to the broader school community, participating in extracurricular activities and school initiatives.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in Secondary Education with a specialization in English.
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
  • A current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
