Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and fully qualified English Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Liverpool. The school, rated Good by Ofsted, is known for its supportive staff, excellent student behaviour, and commitment to delivering a high standard of education. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified teachers looking for a rewarding role with immediate or January start options.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, following the national curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and report on students' progress, helping them reach their full potential
  • Plan creative and differentiated lessons, ensuring that all students' needs are met
  • Work collaboratively with the English department and contribute to extra-curricular activities
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting good behaviour and respect
  • Support the school’s ethos and values, encouraging a love for learning in all students

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in English or a related field
  • Experience teaching English at the secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
  • A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed
  • Enhanced DBS and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)
