Job role: English Teacher 

Contract: Full-time (Mon-Fri 8:30am-15:30pm)

Start: ASAP

A school in Leeds are in need of a Fully Qualified English Teacher starting as soon as possible supporting students in KS3 and KS4.

Must have:

  • Previous experience as an English teacher
  • Knowledge of various teaching methods
  • Deep understanding of the national curriculum and English language requirements
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • A patient and resilient personality
  • Dedication to students and education
  • BSc/BA in English Language or English Literature; MSc is a plus

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
  • Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
  • Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
  • Minimum of three months UK residency
  • We do not accept those on skilled worker visas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
