Exciting Opportunity: Full-Time Food Technology Teacher in Chorley!
Start Date: Easter 2025 | End Date: July 2025

This is a full-time, temporary role starting after Easter until the end of the academic year in July 2025.

As a Food Technology Teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to nurture student creativity, teach essential culinary skills, and promote healthy eating habits in a vibrant and supportive environment. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, help students build practical skills, and prepare them for future careers in the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and informative Food Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 & 4
• Planning and preparing lessons that align with the curriculum and inspire students
• Creating a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and practical skills
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback
• Contributing to extracurricular activities related to food and cooking, if desired

About You:

• A qualified Food Technology teacher with experience delivering engaging lessons
• Passionate about food, sustainability, and encouraging students to think critically about the world of food
• Able to create a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A team player with a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential
