Flexible Humanities Teacher
Job description
Teaching Personnel is looking for a passionate Humanities teacher to join our pool of supply staff in Bristol. As a supply teacher, you will have the flexibility to work in various schools across the city, on your own schedule, gaining experience in different educational settings while helping ensure continuity of learning for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging lessons in your subject specialism or other subjects as required.
- Following the lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or adapting to the needs of the class.
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Supporting students of all abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEND) if applicable.
- Collaborating with other staff members and communicating effectively with school leadership.
- Maintaining a high standard of professional conduct and appearance.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Proven experience working as a teacher, either on a permanent or supply basis.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across different subjects, age groups, and school environments.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Enhanced DBS check (we can assist in obtaining this if needed).
- Passion for teaching and making a positive impact on student learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
