Vacancy: Early Years Educator / Nursery Nurse

Start Date: February Half-Term - July 2025 (could extend into September based on performance)

Pay Rate: £105 - £150 per day

Hours: 8am- 3:30pm - Monday - Friday

 

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a two-form entry Outstanding primary school in Southwark to recruit an experienced Early Years Educator to join their exceptional Early Years team.

About the Early Years Educator Role:

This exciting opportunity starts after February Half-Term 2025 and runs through to July 2025. You will be working in the nursery class, supporting the class teacher and following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Early Years Educator Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking responsibility for 8 key children, providing tailored care and development plans.
  • Ensuring a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care.
  • Assisting with personal care as required.
  • Creating an enabling environment that promotes play, development, and learning for all children.

To excel as an Early Years Educator you must have:

  • A minimum of Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
  • Previous experience in a nursery, school, or similar setting.
  • A professional, enthusiastic, and friendly approach to working with young children.
  • A strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
