Job Duties:
- Supporting the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning activities
- Assisting in the planning and preparation of lessons and learning materials
- Providing support to individual children and small groups during class activities
- Helping to create a stimulating and safe learning environment for young children
- Assisting with the assessment of children's progress and development
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding children's learning and well-being
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or relevant field
- Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
- Paediatric First Aid qualification (desirable)
Education:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
Prior experience working with young children in an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for working with children
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
- Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs
Working Conditions:
- Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
- Temporary position with the possibility of extension

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
