EYFS Teaching Assistant – Full-Time – Gatshead
Are you a passionate and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in Gatshead? We are currently seeking multiple dedicated professionals to join our team on a full-time basis, supporting early years education and development.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
- Work closely with young children to foster their development in a nurturing environment.
- Assist with classroom management and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
- Help with daily routines, including snack time, play activities, and personal care when required.
Requirements:
- Experience working within an EYFS setting is essential.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare or education (Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred).
- A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring and patient approach towards supporting early childhood development.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
