Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a primary school located in Macclesfield, looking for an EYFS Teacher. This is a thriving and welcoming primary school located in the heart of Macclesfield with excellent transport links between Stockport and Congleton. The school is committed to fostering a nurturing environment in which the students can develop their skills, knowledge and confidence as they embark on their educational journey.

  • Full-time role starting in September
  • Opportunity to earn £30k per year

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons/content that meet the needs of all students
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor children’s progress and identify any areas for development
  • Liaise with parents and carers, providing regular updates on children’s progress and development
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the EYFS department

What we are looking for:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience working with EYFS pupils is necessary for this role
  • Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and curriculum
  • Patience, positivity and creativity
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Safeguarding training (must be done upon registering with Teaching Personnel)

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
