Job description

A primary school in the M45 area is currently looking to recruit for a talented and dedicated EYFS Teacher from May 2025 until the end of the academic year on a full-time basis. This school works hard to give their pupils access to a varied curriculum and encourages them to engage in a range of enrichment activities by way of prioritising their mental health and wellbeing. They place great emphasis on creating a supportive and positive learning environment in which all of their pupils have the ability to thrive.

As an EYFS Teacher, you will play an important role in delivering the curriculum and enhancing the children’s learning experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

-          Planning and delivering your own lessons each day.

-          Marking and assessing the pupils’ work in order to track their progress and then deliver this feedback to parents/guardians

-          Giving your pupils the support and guidance they need to meet their goals (particular focus on working towards the phonics screener)

-          Managing behaviour in a classroom setting in line with the school’s behaviour policy and safeguarding measures.

-          Creating and sustaining a positive learning environment based on support in which your pupils can thrive.

Applicants must have a QTS and be a dedicated educational professional who is passionate about helping children fulfil their personal and academic potential. You will have exemplary communication skills and possess the ability to work both on your own and as part of a wider team. Previous experience in a similar role is desired but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
