A well-respected primary school in Boston, Lincolnshire, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, is seeking a dedicated and passionate EYFS Teacher to join their committed team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative educator to contribute to the development of young learners in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Early Years pupils.
  • Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that fosters children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support each child's learning journey.
  • Implement and adhere to the school's policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and child protection.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A recognized EYFS qualification or extensive experience teaching in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and the ability to apply it effectively in the classroom.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality education and care for young children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when necessary.
  • A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Experience of using a range of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
  • A passion for early childhood education and a dedication to fostering a love of learning in young children.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a primary school setting.
  • Familiarity with recent developments in EYFS education.
  • Experience of working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
