Job Title: Early Years Foundation Stage Teaching Assistant (EYFS TA)

£83.95 - £95 Per day
Job Duties:
- Supporting the teacher in the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Assisting with the planning and implementation of activities to support children’s learning and development
- Providing individual support to children with additional needs
- Helping to create a safe and stimulating learning environment
- Assisting with observation and assessment of children’s progress
Required Qualifications:
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
- DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance
- Basic First Aid training
Education:
Minimum of Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
Experience:
Prior experience working in an Early Years setting is desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of the EYFS framework
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
- Patience and empathy towards children
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
- Specialist training in areas such as SEN (Special Educational Needs) or Safeguarding
Working Conditions:
This role involves working with young children in an educational setting. It requires flexibility, patience, and the ability to adapt to the needs of the children and the school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
