Experienced Learning Support Worker – Bridgend

Location: Bridgend
Pay: £13.75 per hour £89.38 per day

Are you passionate about supporting students in their learning journey? Teaching Personnel is seeking an Experienced Learning Support Worker to work in primary and secondary schools across Bridgend.

Role Overview:

As a Learning Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting students with additional learning needs (ALN) or those requiring extra classroom support. Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Providing 1:1 or small group support to students.
✅ Assisting with classroom activities and adapting learning materials.
✅ Supporting students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
✅ Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
✅ Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff.

What We’re Looking For:

✔️ Previous experience in a learning support, teaching assistant, or SEN role.
✔️ A compassionate and patient approach to working with students.
✔️ Strong communication and teamwork skills.
✔️ Experience with SEN strategies and interventions is an advantage.
✔️ A valid DBS (or willingness to apply for one).

✔️ A valid EWC Registration (or willingness to apply for one).
