Job Type: Part-time, Temporary (seasonal work during exam periods)
Are you looking for a rewarding and flexible role in the education sector? We are currently recruiting reliable and vigilant individuals to join our team of Exam Invigilators for secondary schools across Sheffield.
About the Role:
As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring that exams are conducted in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking flexible, part-time work, particularly during peak exam periods (May–June and November–January).
Key Responsibilities:

Supervising students during examinations to prevent misconduct and ensure a fair testing environment.

Distributing and collecting exam papers efficiently.
-
Providing clear instructions to students before, during, and after exams.
-
Assisting with the setup of exam rooms, ensuring they meet required standards.
-
Addressing any queries from students in accordance with exam regulations.
-
Reporting any irregularities or breaches of exam conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements:
-
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain alert and focused.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
-
Punctuality and reliability.
-
A commitment to upholding examination integrity and school policies.
-
Previous experience in an educational setting or invigilation (desirable but not essential).

Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
