Job Advert: English Teacher (QTS) – Liverpool

Location: Liverpool

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and to scale (M1-6, UPS 1-3)

Are you a dedicated and passionate English Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English? Do you have experience teaching English in secondary schools and a strong commitment to inspiring young minds? Teaching Personnel is seeking an exceptional English specialist to join our team and work in Liverpool-based secondary schools.

About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Plan and assess students’ work in line with the curriculum
  • Foster a love for literature and language in young learners
  • Create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment
  • Support students of varying abilities to achieve their potential

Requirements:

  • QTS in English (Essential)
  • Proven experience teaching English in secondary schools
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English language and literature
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
