Are you a passionate and dedicated English teacher looking to make a real impact in a supportive school environment?
One of my wonderful schools is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic English teacher to join our team from after the Easter holidays. This exciting opportunity is suitable for a qualified teacher who is confident in teaching both KS2 and KS3 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging English lessons to students in KS2 and KS3.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and mark students' work regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
  • Create a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and engage in school development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE).
  • Have experience teaching English at KS2 and KS3 level.
  • Possess strong classroom management skills and a passion for inspiring students.
  • Be able to plan and assess student progress effectively.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills with both students and colleagues.
  • Have a commitment to professional development and school improvement.
