Pay: To scale
We are in partnership with an OFSTED Rated "Good" mainstream secondary school in Solihull to recruit a qualified English teacher on a full time basis. This is to ideally start ASAP and has to be someone with relevant experience.
Ideal Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience teaching English at a UK secondary school
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the secondary English national curriculum
- Strong classroom management/behaviour management techniques
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous experience and strong knowledge of special educational needs
Job Role/Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high quality English lessons, catering to various age groups and abilities
- Differentiate lesson plans to suit individuals in each of your classes
- Regularly assess pupil progress and provide timely and informative feedback to them
- Be a motivating and encouraging teacher, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the progress of the English department
- Contribute to the wider school community through active participation in parents evenings, staff training etc

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
